Averaging only 2 points in the first two games of the series, Dragic scored 23 points in the fourth quarter and finished the game with 26. Dragic had some great moments in the game including the pivot in the paint against DeJuan Blair and Tim Duncan on different occasions and a big four point play. Nash was sent back in in the fourth quarter for only a few minutes while Stoudemire and Richardson sat on the bench for the last 12 minutes of the game. | San Antonio vs Phoenix in the second round. The saga continues | | The San Antonio Spurs and the Phoenix Suns will be on it again. Undoubtedly the best and might be the most intense playoffs rivalry after the millennium, these two aging teams might be facing each other for the last time in the Tim Duncan and Steve Nash era in the playoffs. Such rivalry however is one-sided with San Antonio winning it's last 5 series against the Suns. The most intense series however came during the 2006 playoffs when Robert Horry shoved Steve Nash to the sidelines which led to amare stoudemire and Boris Diaw getting ejected. Old foes, new faces, this could be considered as the Western Conference Finals because of the intensity. Will Steve Nash and amare stoudemire finally get their revenge against the Spurs? Or will the Spurs Big 3 continue their dominance over the Suns? The X-factors will be Grant Hill and Jason Richardson for the Suns and George Hill and DeJuan Blair for the Spurs. All 4 players played very well in their respective first round matches. This one for sure will go down the wire. The defensive minded Suns vs the old... | |
| | Phoenix and San Antonio eyes to end their respective series | | If both the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs win their respective game 6, they'd advance to the second round and that would set another match between these two teams. The winner of the Suns-Blazers and Mavericks-Spurs match would meet in the second round and there is no better match for this round than the Suns and the Spurs. Since Steve Nash returned to phoenix back in 2004, the Suns and the Spurs somewhat made a rivalry of their own. The Spurs defeated the Suns in each of the series but in a controversial way. It's to be remembered that the Suns lost to San Antonio in a controversial way when Robert Horry shoved Nash back in 2006 which led to the suspension of Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw and the Spurs won the series. With some minor changes but keeping the core players during their rivalry series, it's great to see the Suns and Spurs go at it once again. The Suns still have Nash and Stoudemire while the Spurs have their core of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker. The pitch now is that they no longer have Bruce Bowen and Robert Horry, two bruisers that mattered a lot in their series against the Suns in the past.I'd love to see... | |
| | Phoenix Suns>>> Any news about Amare Stoudamire | | Hello. I'm a Phoenix Suns fan from Philippines and I would like to hear some news about Amare 'STAT' Stoudamire condition. Is he ready to play for next NBA season? Is he already recovered from his eye injury? I really like because he is very explosive player in the paint and I like his work attitude on court. Any news about him please. Thanks. | |

| Phoenix Bishop sent to jail for ringing the church bells | | Now I've heard everything. In some parts of the country, Muslim calls to worship are commonplace. In Phoenix, ringing the church bells is prohibited by a local noise ordinance. Interestingly enough, the bells were not louder than what was allowed for ice cream trucks.
