| The Smiths fans? Morrissey fans? | | Recently, I have taken quite a liking to the smiths.
It all started a couple weeks ago when I came across the video for "How Soon is Now" (it kind of reminded me of AFI- one of my fav band's- video for "Medicate so it especially hit a chord with me), and just fell in love with the song.
I listened to some Smiths songs off various albums and made a mix CD of my favorites. It's got "Ask," "Bigmouth Strikes Again," "Panic," "Rusholme Ruffians," and of course "How Soon is Now" among others.
I was curious to see if there are any mylot-ers that enjoy the smiths as well?
If so, could you give me some recommendations?
I am curious about Morrissey's solo albums- are those any good? and if so, which is your favorite?
And btw, I find that Morrissey was QUITE attractive back in the day, lol!>///< | |

| ´Years of Refusal´ should it be the last Morrissey album or not? | | One of the most influential artists of modern times, Morrissey has said that his latest album that comes out in february entitled ´years of refusal´ will be his last. In my opinion only the greatest musicians know when to call it a day. The question that arises is as follows:All of Morrissey´s work to date has been of the highest quality, in fact I fervently believe that his last album ´ringleader of the tormentors´ was one of his most brilliant albums if not indeed his best. This is why when we talk musicians that have had an exceptional career it begs the question; Is it the correct moment to retire or should he continue enthralling his multitudes of fans worldwide with his exceptional gift?
