Do people still love the earlier rock music, prior to 1950's? My parents used to say, the modern Indian music, from films is not very impressing. Similar to this statment does your parents/u say that Modern Rock music is unpleasent when compared to old ones? | |

| Modern Rock: Seether, Three Days Grace, or Breaking Benjamin? | | Ok so I'm in love with modern rock! Intesely so, I'm originally from AK so coming to WI there's been concerts...gooood concerts. I've gone to 2 concerts with BREAKING BENJAMIN, SEETHER, AND THREE DAYS GRACE. To me three days grace is the best cause his voice is amazing, the words, music everything. | These are the perefct modern rock band | | This band for me is one of the greatest bands for ever.Well i started to listen them when i firstly listened to the "Under the bridge" song.That song really impressed me as it talked about drugs and i had some of my friends having such problems at that time.That song is unbelievable because there are no much arrangements and it is simple, just bass and clean electric guitar.After i fell in love with this song started to listen and read all about rhcp.
I really like the guitar man John Frusciante,but i like too Kiedis words.
Hope that they will come at anytime here at Albania, though they are not so famous at Europe still remain a great band. | |

I'm talking about bands from 2000 and up, who you think will last and will be remembered for many years to come. Some of my favorite bands are Evanescence (although band member keep changing and probably will keep changing, Amy is one of my fav) Also I like 3 days grace my favorite modern band( I think that they'll last a long time or at least hope so) and Avril Lavigne, though she is not a band, she is quite amazing and will probably last until she is really old. | |

| Modern classic rock | | Is classic rock really mean that it is from back in the 60's 70's 80's or is ti actually a type of sound? I think its a type of sound. No band now has achieved this but if it was achieved would you think that it would be classified as classic rock. I think the closest band would be a band called airbourne. They sound a lot like AC/DC. | |
