| What's the saddest song you've ever heard? | | I was looking in my list of mp3s when I saw the song Photographs and Memories by Jim Croce. For me, this is the saddest song I've heard in my life. The lyrics just say it all -- the guy is just reminiscing good times with his partner through the photographs, saying that he loved her then and that the photos are the only ones left of their good memories. The lyrics just pierce my heart every time I play that song.How about you, what can you say is the saddest song for you? | |

| favorite dashboard song/cd? | | what is your favorite dashboard confessional song or cd? do you prefer the older eps or the newer full band? i love the old acoustic stuff when it was just chris carrabba and a guitar. but the newer songs are alot more radio friendly obviously. he's playing in atlanta with some of the american idols, which i think is weird. | |
| | | Saints And Sailors | | The title is actually a title of a Dashboard Confessional song. the lyrics goes like "..you smile like a saint but you curse like a sailor so i say the joke s on me." i have been fooled a couple of times by girls having an angelic smile but as you get to know them better you see this whole new personality, almost often when they re angry. they re like these cute little cats with those beautiful cat eyes and those cute cat face. but when they get angry a monster comes out of that little cute cat roaring in front of you, cursing like a female version of Gandalf the gray, pointing and shouting at your face. have you ever met someone and you were completely sure that that person was pleasant but it turned out that the person was a screamer or a curser, or a shouter? lol. please share your thoughts and stories. | |
