Sadly, he died in 2006, but I had a friend of mine many years ago that was just nuts about dan fogelberg - especially the album "Souveniers". Have you ever listened to him? I was thinking about beautiful spring days and wishing I could save "time in a bottle" I think. And I want to talk about something pleasant.Jim Croce and Dan Fogelberg are two examples of musicians who seemed like just mellow guys who came up with beautiful and touching songs I could not get enough of. I was capable of singing them and playing them and they were great for my non-rock moods that would come on now and then. Another such music man was the man who wrote "Vincent" -- Don McLean.Enough of my sitting here with my nostalgia for that lovely music. | "The Leader Of The Band Has Died"... R.I.P. Dan Fogelberg | | Dan Fogelberg has passed away at the age of 56. He died from Prostate Cancer. The world has lost one of it's great singer/songwriters.
You may remember such soft rock classics of his, such has "Leader of The Band" and "Longer".

| What was your favorite concert? | | I was going to concerts in my late teens and early 20's, so I got to see Fleetwood Mac on the Rumours tour, Supertramp for Breakfast in America, and Dan Folgelberg for The Innocent Age.
